After viewing 13 wedding venues over a very intense weekend, we instantly knew Newagen Seaside Inn was exactly what we wanted. It was a perfect mixture of New England charm and coastal Maine beauty. The ability to book the entire resort, allowed us to have an amazing weekend with all our family on site. The incredible staff went out of their way to ensure all of our needs were met. Even when rain threatened, the Newagen crew worked seamlessly with our planner to ensure the ceremony could go on. The sky cleared and they proceeded with an outdoor cocktail. We were delighted with both the food and drinks. It was the most wonderful weekend of our lives and we are so happy to have celebrated it at Newagen Seaside Inn.

Seahorse Cottage allowed us to feel as though we were on a secluded island, while still being close to our guests. Waking up to the beautiful view and the sound of the crashing surf each morning was amazing. It provided the perfect suite for the bridal party to prepare on the morning of the wedding. My only regret is that we didn’t get to spend more time there.

Our wonderful planner, Kate Martin, suggested we take a moment to ourselves after the ceremony. It had downpoured through the entire ceremony, however, there were endless blue skies immediately after. The fantastic owner took us on a personal harbor cruise with champagne. Having a moment to reflect on the incredible commitment we had just made with the beautiful backdrop of Southport Island, was my absolute favorite moment of the best day of our lives.

We can’t wait to celebrate future anniversaries at Newagen Seaside Inn!
