About the Boothbay Craft Brewery

Since its inception in 2009, the Boothbay Craft Brewery has become a staple of the local food and beverage scene. What makes owners Lori and Win Mitchell’s project special is their inspiration for creating the brewery. This long-time dream became a reality for the Mitchells when they reached out to the community for support. Using their own sawmill and donated materials, the couple constructed the Boothbay Craft Brewery from the ground up. They wanted to create a place where everyone could come together and enjoy a frothy local brew and a plate of farm-to-table fare. Today, the couple’s brewery and adjacent tavern continue to serve Mainers honest food and drink, true to the owners’ original purpose.

What to Try on the Boothbay Craft Brewery Menu

Every December after the annual Festival of Lights festivities, the Boothbay Craft Brewery closes its doors for the season. Until then, visitors can stop by and enjoy four signature beers anytime between Thursday and Sunday, 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. There are three IPAs and one Lager on tap year-round, and there are usually numerous other seasonal brews like the Boothbay Brewery’s Thirsty Botanist IPA to try.
