Claw Down Boothbay Harbor: What You Need to Know
Fifteen chefs will compete in Claw Down, using about 500 pounds of locally sourced lobster. The coveted Chef of the Year award is picked by a blind judging. Chefs will also have the chance to vote amongst themselves for the winner of the Chef’s Choice Award.
Claw Down Boothbay Harbor hosts lobster lovers from across the country. When you attend, you’ll get to taste each chef’s special lobster bite and cast your vote for the third title, People’s Choice Award. A selection of beer and wine will also be available, courtesy of Cisco Brewers and Ninety Plus Cellars.
The 2017 Claw Down Boothbay Harbor will take place on Thursday, September 14 from 5 to 9 pm. Cocktail attire is recommended for the event, and attendees must be 21 or over. A limited number of tickets are still available at $65 each. (Tickets include handcrafted lobster bites, wine, beer, desserts, and a coffee bar.)
