Tuesday
8 a.m.
Enjoy breakfast, which is included in your room rate and based on double occupancy, before setting off for the day.
10 a.m.
Board your Audubon Puffin and Scenic Cruise with Cap’n Fish’s Cruises. You’ll get an up-close look at the reestablished puffin colony on Eastern Egg Rock.
1 p.m.
After returning to land, grab lunch from nearby Kaler’s Restaurant. When you’ve refueled, spend the rest of the day exploring downtown Boothbay Harbor, which is home to a variety of quaint shops, boutiques, and art galleries.
6 p.m.
Make your way back to Newagen for dinner at our incredible on-site restaurant, The Pub. The talented chef uses Maine ingredients like freshly caught lobster and seafood and locally sourced meats to create delicious dishes.
8 p.m.
Before turning in for the night, relax under the stars around our fit pit.
Wednesday
7 a.m.
An early start to your day requires a coffee stop. Visit Red Cup Coffeehouse for a classic drip coffee or something unique like a salted carmelita to go along with your breakfast sandwich.
8:30 a.m.
Spend your day exploring the stunning hiking trails found in the Boothbay Region Land Trust. You can discover various Maine scenery like forests, wetlands, meadows, and scenic vistas.
1 p.m.
A trip to Boothbay Harbor isn’t complete without a stop at Boothbay Harbor Marina. Stroll along the footbridge and see the boats coming in and out.
4:30 p.m.
Stop at Cape Newagen Alpaca Farm on your way back to the resort. Book your spot on one of their ALPACA Treks or other tours.
7 p.m.
Listen to stories and songs while enjoying s’mores with other guests at Fireside Tales, which take place every Wednesday at 7 p.m. around a bonfire.
Thursday
10 a.m.
During your last day, visit area museums and attractions like Hendricks Hills Museum, Boothbay Railway Village, Farnsworth Art Museum, or Owls Head Transportation Museum. Be sure to grab lunch while you’re out at popular spots like Dunton’s Doghouse or Shannon’s Unshelled.
2 p.m.
Spend the rest of your day enjoying all of the fun activities available at our Southport resort, including rowing, candlepin bowling, and swimming.
7 p.m.
Grab a late dinner at The Pub while you enjoy Music in the Pub, which takes place from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursdays and Sundays.
